Act II Players Showcase

Mandarin-based community theater Act II Players is excited to showcase Jacksonville’s finest talent and we want YOU to be part of it! Saturday, July 10 from noon until 3pm, Act II Players will host the Act II Players SHOWCASE. A free, fun afternoon where attendees can learn more about Mandarin’s community theater and see some of the finest talent in the area! The event will take place at the Mandarin Garden Club at 2892 Loretto Road, 32223.

Now here’s where you come in. We’re looking for actors, singers, dancers, comedians, spoken word artist, you name it! This is your time to shine, so audition today! Interested participants can send an audition YouTube video link to [email protected]. Specific requirements are detailed on the Act II Players website. Auditions must be received no later than midnight Friday, June 25. Entries will be reviewed and the SHOWCASE lineup will be announced the following week. All participants who are selected will be required to pay a $10 participation fee and attend the Showcase rehearsal on July 9 from 7pm to 9pm.

On Saturday, July 10, these acts will be featured as part of the Act II Players SHOWCASE where attendees will enjoy concessions and learn more about the mission of Act II Players and upcoming events. There will be raffles and door prizes. “This is a great way for Mandarin residents to get to know us and learn more about our mission and what we’re excited to bring to the Mandarin community,” said Act II Players Board President, Gavin Turner. “And we encourage anyone to submit an audition. Singers, comedians, dancers, spoken word artist, individual or groups! Get your friends together and enter as a group!”
